Post Secondary Educators Branch Report 2011
The Branch Executive Committee met two times this year. We are not a face-to-face branch as our members are located all across the province. We produced two editions of our Branch News Letters (Prime Time). Over half are now distributed electronically.
This year we made 5 presentations of There Is More To It Than Money, 4 presentations of Funding Your Future and 4 presentations of Retirement Lifestyle Planning.
With the implementation of Funding Your Future and along with the Pension Corporation’s new pension promise workshop, we have achieved our goal of making available a comprehensive retirement preparation package for employees of the post secondary education system in BC. We are happy to be using these presentations as our major membership recruitment activities. We look forward to doubling these offerings in 2012.
