Quesnel Branch Report 2011
Again this year we had our customary four luncheons/meetings. We meet at 11:30 the first day of school then on the first Mondays of December, March and June. Recently our preferred meeting place is the downstairs room of the Billy Barker Hotel. Visitors are welcome to join us when in town.
At our December luncheon we were entertained with a sing a long lead by our own Betsy van Haldren. This is always fun. The highlight of the year was the attendance of our June meeting by Annette O’Connor who gave a presentation on the new Extended Health Care package to take effect next January. The presentation was informative and valued by our members, clearing up many questions asked by the members.
Our elections were successful this year, we acclaimed a new president, Greg Brink, to preside over our group for the next while.
